Panel OKs tax on the super rich

The Democrats’ proposed $30.6 billion budget and companion legislation reimplementing a millionaires tax, if enacted, would provide an additional $1.1 billion for local schools. Gov. Chris Christie, a Republican, has promised to veto the millionaires tax; Republican lawmakers, so far, indicate they will remain collectively opposed so that the veto can’t be overridden. http://bit.ly/kFW0c0
