WORLD FOREX: Euro Slips On Egypt Concerns, May Fall More On ECB

The euro fell against the safe-haven dollar and yen in Asia Thursday due to concerns over political unrest in Egypt, and dealers said the single currency could fall further on the outcome of a European Central Bank policy board meeting. The central bank will hold its regular policy board meeting later in the global day, with a press conference by ECB President Jean-Claude Trichet scheduled for 1330 GMT.
