The state will pay Camden County nearly $500,000 for just over half an acre of parkland along Route 130 in Collingswood, Camden and Pennsauken as part of a roadway widening and drainage project.
The Department of Transportation project, which is still in the design stage, would include re-decking the Haddon Avenue bridge and replacing the Cooper River bridge, said Fran McCrory, representative for the DOT. It will also bring improvements in the roadway and drainage at the former Collingswood Circle, where Routes 130 and 30 meet North Park Drive. http://bit.ly/fdcRJw
