Father Timothy E. Byerley, from Pastor, Mary, Queen of All Saints, Pennsauken has been named Pastor, Saint Peter Parish, Merchantville for a six-year term. Father Byerley, 61, holds a doctorate in religious education from Fordham and master’s degrees in divinity (Mount Saint Mary), spirituality (Saint Charles Seminary) and ecumenism (Princeton Theological Seminary). He was ordained on May 25, 1985. He was pastor at Mary, Queen of All Saints since 2013. From 2004-10, he was pastor at Saint John Vianney in Deptford. He is the vice postulator for the beatification cause of Maria Esperanza.
