“for the TREES”, a fundraiser to benefit Merchantville Shade Tree Commission will be held on Saturday, October 26th, from 2:00 – 9:00 p.m. at The Gathering Place, 19 North Centre Street, Merchantville, NJ.
This event will feature a Silent Auction of “The Community Tree”, a one-of-a-kind mosaic work created at Earth Tones by members of the community and Kathy Casper, Mosaic Artist, in the Summer of 2009. Work of Local Artists will be offered for sale Kathy Casper – Mosaic Artist; Anita DiPietro – Jeweler; and, Barbara Hanselman – Claysmith. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Shade Tree Commission.
Cash or Checks. Donations Accepted. The mosaic will be on display at Cafe Bella Vita, 43 S. Centre Street, Merchantville.
Laurie Pollack, a practitioner of forms of collage and poetry, will be offering a workshop on SoulCollage® on October 26, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. where registrants will each make a card honoring either an ancestor or a departed loved one either human or animal companion.
