Saturday, April 6th is Opening Day for Merchantville Little League. All players will gather at Roecker Field at 9:30 a.m. for the Scoreboard dedication, then parade with their teams to the main field on Clayton Avenue. Little League is the largest youth sports organization in the world offering baseball and softball
to children ages 4-18. There are nearly 2.6 million players in Little League Baseball worldwide, including both boys and girls, including 400,000 registered in Softball. Each summer, Little League operates seven World Series tournaments at various locations throughout the U.S. Our motto is Courage, Character and Loyalty.
Merchantville Little League balances competition with fun. They participate in District 14 softball and District 13 baseball. The league is headed by Dave Aleszczyk. MLL Sponsors include The MLL monthly meeting is held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. April meeting is 4/10/13 @ 7:30 pm at the Merchantville community Center. All are welcome to attend. MLL sponsors include Mulhern’s Auto Repair, The Blue Monkey Tavern, Merchantville Diner and PlumbMedic. Join in the fun and enjoy watching your childhood memories come to life!
