NJ Quitline Helps Smokers Quit

The Camden County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services (NJDHSS) to expand and extend its free nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) program.  “The county and state are working in partnership to notify Camden County residents of this exclusive, limited time offer,” said Freeholder Carmen Rodriguez, liaison to the Camden County Department of Health and Human Services.  “If you ever thought of quitting, now is the time to act.”  NJ Quitline, (1-866-NJSTOPS) is a FREE, confidential and multilingual telephone-based counseling and referral service for smokers who are ready to quit smoking.  Highly trained Quit Coaches ® are available seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 3 a.m.  For more information on how the NJ Quitline service works, visit www.njquitline.org.
