New priest Grace Chuch

Father Jeffrey Kirk is to be our new Priest-in-Charge. Fr. Kirk is currently the rector at Church of Atonement, Laurel Springs. His last day there will be April 11th, he will begin work at Grace on April 12th. On Sunday, April 18th, we will have only one service at 10:00AM. This is a time change from the announcement last week, the vestry deciding last night to maintain our parish tradition of starting combined services at 10:00AM. After the service there will be an informal reception for Father Kirk and his wife Betsy in Morse Hall. To keep the cost down the vestry is requesting that parish families with last names beginning with “A” through “M” bring sandwiches for 4 people, and families with last names beginning with “N” through “Z” bring salads for 4 people. If you don’t follow the above guidelines, and would rather bring a salad instead of sandwiches, or just bring something else to share, that is great. The important thing is to bring yourself. The church will provide beverages, plates and utensils. All in the parish are welcome to attend, to bring food, and otherwise help with the event.
