Kosherzenko fundraiser boosts MLL Girls Softball

Colleen Kosherzenko, who died tragically at the age of 23 from cancer, was part of the MLL girls softball scene throughout her childhood. Her former softball coach and family friend, Jim Brady and his daughter Shannon organized a Softball Game Fundraiser in her memory this past Sunday, May 23rd. All proceeds from the event were donated to MBBL Girls Softball. The event was attended by a crowd of more than 100 friends and fans. Her former teamates and current MLL Softball coaches donned Colleen “K” tee’s to bat the ball and run the bases in her honor. The 7th inning stretch yielded a 50/50 in excess of $100 and a gift raffle that included cases of pasta, coolers and gift baskets.
