Human Rights Watch criticizes Alabama immigration law

Alabama’s controversial immigration law is “grounded in discrimination,” fosters a culture of fear and denies basic rights to undocumented residents and their families, a human rights organization said in a report released Wednesday. The Human Rights Watch Report, “No Way to Live: Alabama’s Immigrant Law,” is based in part on first-hand accounts given by 57 state residents, including citizens and permanent residents, who reported abuse or discrimination, the group said. http://bit.ly/rUQjyE
