Council applies for ‘Classic Town’ status

At the 7/13 Council meeting our Merchantville requested to be considered for the Classic Towns program through the DVRPC. Locally it works with designated towns to understand marketing, community development needs and to educate business community and general public about the amenities and investment opportunities that can be found in these communities. Regionally it encourages municipalities to work together and support county, regional, and state economic development initiatives.
