Every year, the Cherry Valley model train club has several “Open House” events in conjunction with the Merchantville annual Christmas parade and Tree Lighting ceremony. The first Open House weekends were held Friday and Saturday, November 9–10 and 16-17, 1962. Dates for the 54th (2016) Open House weekends are as follows: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, December 2-3-4. Hours are: Fridays 6pm-9pm, Saturdays and Sundays noon-4 pm. Attendance is free (donations requested).
