Ballet offers contemporary twist

Ballets modern focus will be in the spotlight when the Pennysylvania Ballet presents “Classical Innovations’, a program of three works presenting different styles within contemporary ballet, from February 3rd-6th at Philadelphia’s Merriam Theater. Ballet mistress, Tamara Hadley, who lives in Merchantville described the peices as very demanding on dancers but gives attendees a great opportunity to get to see another side of the dancers. Hadley said that no dancer is cast in all three ballets because the pieces are really taxing physically.
