Active and beloved resident dies

WHITE, Frank Walter On July 7, 2010, age 89, of Merchantville NJ. Beloved husband of Claire (nee McKee) for 65 years. Dear father of Susanne White of Brooklyn and Michelle (Warren) Henderson of Grand Rapids MI. Dear brother of Florence Sullivan, Judith Breunle and the late Elizabeth, loving grandfather of Zoe and Gwen. Frank was a WW II decorated war hero. He served in the Army Air Force as a B26 pilot on 69 missions and received the Purple Heart and the Distinguished Flying Cross. He was employed in the advertising and marketing business most of his career, was an active member of the Merchantville Community, serving on the Shade Tree Commission, and most recently as the meter inspector. He was a member of Merchantville Country Club, St. Peter Church, and will be remembered for his zest for life, kind, loving and humorous personality.
