In the United States and Canada it’s National Sleep Awareness week March 7 to March 13, 2011. In the U.S. one in four men and one in 10 women have sleep apnea. In both countries, National Sleep Awareness week consists of a public awareness campaign, essentially the distribution of information about sleep apnea and sleep deprivation. The National Sleep Awareness week ends with the clocks changing to Daylight Savings time, depriving people of one hour’s sleep. http://bit.ly/evmAus
