Camco GOP chief resigns

Camden County Republican Committee Chairman Richard DeMichele is resigning in the wake of a campaign to force his ouster. “It is with mixed emotion that I must announce, effective March 9, 2011, my resignation as chairman of the Camden County Republican Committee,” DeMichele said in a statement released Thursday. “We are very pleased that there is now a chance for new leadership in the Camden County Republican Party to restore unity and integrity,’ said Nancy O’Dowd, who narrowly lost a bid for Cherry Hill council in 2009. http://bit.ly/g7TBDE
