Couple arrested in string of local burglaries

A man and woman from Camden have been charged with burglarizing more than 15 homes in surrounding towns. The pair was arrested Friday after detectives investigating a string of recent burglaries in Cherry Hill and nearby watched as they broke into a Cherry Hill home, police said. Police said detectives were conducting surveillance of Elizabeth Sanchez, 35, and Jorge Capeles, 36, both of the 1100 block of South 4th Street, Friday afternoon.
