Merchantville, New Jersey (FPRC) December 18th, 2011 — Merchantville New Jersey is the setting of Giant Chipmunk Production’s new comedy web series The Post-mortem Adventures of Cyril B. Jones. The production team was attracted by Merchantville’s rich history,
Victorian architecture and charming community. The interiors for the series were filmed in California. However, it was necessary to film the exteriors on location. So during the last week of November, the production team flew in from San Diego and spent the week filming in town. “The town has a delightful feel that begs to be photographed. It gives the story of Cyril an additional charm that would be lost if the series was set in an ambiguous California city” producer Katharine Sohler writes.

Cyril B. Jones is the story of Cyril, a young engineer who won’t let anything keep him from pursuing his dream career, not even death. Cyril was living the perfect life, or so he thought. When his life suddenly ends, he discovers his dream life was just that—a dream. His competitor took his promotion at the office and Claire, the girl he thought loved him, really only considered him a good friend. Now, Cyril is determined to get his life back no matter what it takes, even if doing so means haunting his co-workers.
