Barbara DeFranco, Janet Schwarz and Cathy Koestel; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Walt was a dedicated employee of the Borough of Merchantville serving many years as Fire Marshall, Fire Inspector and Deputy Chief of Niagara Fire Company. He was also President of the Merchantville Fishing Club and a US Navy veteran. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday evening from 5:00-9:00 PM in the ALLOWAY FUNERAL HOME 315 E. Maple Avenue Merchantville, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:00 AM in St. Peter Church Merchantville. Interment will follow in the Camden County Veterans Cemetery at Harleigh Camden, NJ.
