Public voting for the best home/business displays typically runs in late October, with winners announced by the Mayor on Halloween night at 8:30 PM in front of the Witch’s House at the corner of Park Avenue and Centre Street. The 2025 “Haunts of Monsterville” winners announced by Mayor Brennan included: Best Overall Theme – “Pirates” at 72 Volan Street; StreetBest DIY Haunt – “Durantula-Phillies” at 25 East Walnut Avenue; Best Overall Effects – “Whispering Pines” at 3 East Cedar Avenue; Best Traditional Display – “Ghostly Grabeyatf” at 117 Glenwood Avenue; and, Best Business Display – “Hocus Crokus” by Nicole Nurthen Photography at 2 East Maple Avenue.
