Girls academy remembered

An upcoming event will bring together graduates of a long-closed Catholic girls high school in Haddonfield. But the guest of honor will have a unique tie to St. Mary of the Angels Academy, founded in 1945 in a converted house off North Kings Highway. It’s the Blessed Mother — or more specifically, her statue.Graduates of the former St. Mary of the Angels Academy in Haddonfield are invited to a mass and statue dedication at Bishop Eustace Prep School, Route 70, Pennsauken at 1 p.m. May 18.
