On Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. the Merchantville Borough Council held their annual reorganization meeting. Re-elected councilpersons Edward Brennan and Patricia Fields took the oath of office for three year terms. Councilman-elect John Grasso took the oath of office
for a one year term to fulfill the vacancy created by the resignation of Joe Brickley and Councilwoman-elect Agnes Madden took the oath of office for the two year unexpired term left open by the resignation of John Alloway. Mayor North announced annual council assignments, standing committees, appointments, board members and commission members. Council made the following professional appointments: Robert P. Nehila, Jr., CPA, RMA, PSA, Partner acting for Bowman and Company, Registered Municipal Accountant; Steven Bach, P.E. of Bach Associates, Borough Engineer; Ragan Design Group, Municipal Planner; Timothy Higgins, Esq., Borough Solicitor; Philip Norcross, Esq. of Parker Mc Cay; Christi L. Chiarulli of USA Payroll; Lizanne Healey-Smith of First Heritage Title Agency, Inc.
