Budget cuts spark cancellation of July 4 events at Cooper River

Families who attended Camden County’s Fourth of July concert and fireworks at Cooper River Park will have to find a new place to lay their blankets.The county is canceling its free “Let Freedom Rock Fest” due to budget cuts. Instead, the concert will be held as a paid event at Susquehanna Bank Center at the Camden Waterfront, hosted by WMGK, the radio station that had been a past co-sponsor of the Cooper River Park event. http://bit.ly/fjCQ6B
