Electronics and hazardous waste collections scheduled

Camden County residents can go green by participating in the Electronic Recycling Collection event and/or the Special Household Waste Collection drive-through event scheduled in April.  The Electronic Recycling Collection will be held on April 9 at the Camden County Public Works Complex, 2311 Egg Harbor Road, Lindenwold, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Remember, as of Jan. 1, it is now required by law to recycle items known as e-waste – TVs, computers and computer monitors. The Special Household Waste Collection will be held the following Saturday, April 16, at the Collingswood Public Works Complex, 713 N. Atlantic Ave., from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.  “No matter where you live, there are convenient opportunities to do your part to recycle and help our environment,” said Freeholder Jeffrey Nash, liaison to the Division of Environmental Affairs.
