Fire probes concern towns

Layoffs that take effect in Camden County Monday will gut the county fire marshal’s office, causing concern among some towns about how fire inspections will be carried out. Among the 260 county employees expected to be laid off are 10 of the 11 assistant fire marshals in the department.
