Beginning on March 8, 2011 the Borough Public Works department will pick up the following items for the entire town on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. YARD WASTE: Leaves, sticks, branches, Christmas trees, brush and plant items bundled in 4 foot lengths and tied or placed in a trash can. OTHER WASTE: Non-latex paint and non-burnable items. METALS: Any product with non-burnable parts, appliances expt electronic devices. ELECTRONIC WASTE: TV, radios, computers, keyboards, towers, shredders, etc. must be placed curbside separately from other trash HOUSEHOLD CHEMICALS: Oil based paint, shellac, varnish, weed killers, household cleaners, etc. must be separated and placed in labeled container.
