Heavy rain forecasted

The latest weather forecast obtained by Camden County calls for rain on Thursday. A weak system over the Ohio valley and associated warm front will bring more clouds to our region today.  A few showers will move east into our area by this evening.  A second, more robust storm will develop in the Midwest to bring a steadier cold rain on Thursday with amounts totaling from a half inch to an inch of precipitation.

Dry cool weather arrives on Friday, but then a coastal storm could potentially bring more showers for Saturday.  The track of this storm is likely to undergo some shifts before the weekend.

The Camden County Department of Public Works is closely monitoring the weather reports.  Our crews stand ready to tackle any situations that may need to be addressed on county roadways.  Residents should avoid areas of that typically flood if possible, and remember that pools of water may prevent drivers from seeing hazards in the road. If you see a problem on a county road, please call 856-566-2980 to report it.  Continue to check www.camdencounty.com for weather and road condition updates.
