Sewers and requests for proposals

An RFP will be issued by the Borough for two municipal properties, 174 Prospect Avenue and 9 S. Centre Street. Mitigation of the sewer system is at 50% completion. In about 2-3 weeks lining of the sewers will begin throughout town. The lining process will primarily take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily. During sewer lining residents will have sufficient water to flush toilets but not to do laundry. Street by street notification of residents will be by door hanger. Residents’ cars will need to be removed from the street as the sewer lining occurs. Residents’ will not be able to exit their driveways during street closures. There was no discussion of the Cherry Hill merger issue and no member of the public spoke on the issue of town consolidation.
