We want to take a moment to remind voters who we are, why we are running, and the vision we have for Merchantville’s future. This campaign has always been about our community. Since launching our campaign, we have knocked on nearly 800 doors across the borough and spoken directly with more than 1,000 of our neighbors. We’ve listened to your concerns, your ideas, and your hopes for Merchantville – and we have taken that feedback to heart as we shaped our priorities
and plans for our borough. We are proud of our proven record of serving our community and our commitment to affordability, responsible leadership, smart redevelopment, and strengthening our community for everyone who calls this borough home. None of this would be possible without the feedback, encouragement, and conversations we’ve shared with all of you throughout this campaign. We are deeply grateful for all of your overwhelming support and we are asking once more for your help by voting Woods, Fitzgerald, & Delarosa on June 2.
Our Priorities for Merchantville are threefold: Promoting Affordability, Supporting Smart Economic Development and Strengthening Our Community.
Promoting Affordability through:
- Responsible budgeting that protects taxpayers
- Controlling spending while maintaining high-quality services residents deserve
- Advocating for policies that ease the burden of rising costs on families & seniors
Supporting Smart Economic Development by:
- Cultivating a vibrant business district that supports both existing & new businesses
- Encouraging thoughtful redevelopment that expands our tax base
- Promoting smart planning that balances growth with neighborhood character
Strengthening Our Community by:
- Delivering responsive local government that listens to residents
- Ensuring Merchantville remains a welcoming place for everyone
- Working collaboratively to solve challenges and move our borough forward
