Effective Friday, February 13, 2026 a new ruling regarding Passport Acceptance Facilities means that many U.S. citizens who rely on their local, non-profit, library to apply for passports may no longer have that option. According to the American Library Association, public libraries are organized differently across states, with varying percentages being non-profit organizations. Locally, the following places offer U.S. Passport services: Camden County Clerk’s Office
– Camden County Courthouse, 520 Market Street, Room 102, Camden, NJ 08102 (walk-in service); Camden County Store – 100 University Court, Blackwood, NJ 08012 (by appointment only); Staples – 2230 West Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002; and, FedEx Office – 1160 Marlton Pike E., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
