Dorothy Foley, from the Merchantville Green Team, accepted our annual recognition for Bronze certification on behalf of the Borough at the Sustainable Jersey Annual Luncheon in Atlantic City on November 19th. This gathering included leaders in the sustainability movement representing state agencies, academic institutions, businesses and the 466 New Jersey municipalities participating in Sustainable Jersey. Over 450 people were in attendance this year for the luncheon and 78 towns
50 Bronze and 28 Silver – were recognized for Sustainable Jersey certification. The Merchantville Borough Sustainability Partners – The Green Team, Incredible Edible, Shade Tree and Garden Club – received congratulations again for their many efforts and accomplishments this past year by many committed volunteers and municipal officials!
