Chicken Fest Planned

We are going to have a Chicken Fest on June 16th, 2018 at the Merchantville Farmers Market. The main goal will be about educating people on raising chickens and growing their own food. Hoping to have anything to do with chickens from vendors selling chicken products, backyard chicken groups from different towns to represent what is going on in their town, and basically homesteading idea that works in accordance with raising chickens. (Gardening, bees, etc…) There will also be kids activities and demonstrations. We can happily confirm that Dr. Molly Hosier from VCA Maple Shade Animal Hospital will be attending to offer tips on chicken health care.
