Best South Jersey towns for families: Where does yours rank? Well according to NJFamily.com now there’s a list that ranks the family-friendliness of more than 500 towns across the state. The site assigned ratings to towns with populations of 1,500-plus based on factors such as schools, safety, affordability and diversity. Merchantville ranked #7 in Camden County, but we think it’s #1.
