Urban Swim Program teams up with the Camden Riversharks to educate the public about combating the drowning epidemic and create community driven programs that teach swimming and foster a sense of achievement, discipline and self-empowerment for children ages 1-14. Join them for this fundraising event at Campbell’s Field on May 12th. For every ticket sold using the “urbanswim” code $5 will be donated to our organization.
Urban Swim Program is a non-profit organization founded by Merchantville resident Danielle Strader-Bordi to promote diversity in the sport of swimming by providing affordable community driven programs that teach a life saving skills to prevent drownings and create an environment that fosters self empowerment, achievement and discipline. They have partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of Camden County to bring swim lessons to the children of the Camden Community, creating opportunities where they don’t already exist.
