Mara Wuebker, facilitator from Ragan Design Group, gives us a quick status update on news from the West Maple Neighborhood. A ‘thank you’ goes out to Mr. Siskind who has painted over the graffiti at the 130 gateway to the neighborhood (again). Also, a new convenience store, Melo Food Market, is coming to the neighborhood!
It’s going in near Michael’s liquor and M&M Deli on Maple Avenue. The tenants have gone to the Merchantville Historic Preservation Commission and received approval for their signage. Also, M&M Deli has replaced its awning that was in disrepair and is adding pizza to its repertoire. Finally, tomorrow’s Task Force Meeting is cancelled, as RDG is in the process of finalizing the findings/recommendations generated during the first phase of the study. The next task force meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 9th at 1p.m.
