The Annual Parish Meeting of Grace Episcopal Church will be held on Sunday, January 15th at 11:15 a.m. in Morse Hall. The meeting purposes are to: elect a Senior Warden, four Vestry members, three Diocesan Convention Delegates and three Alternate Delegates, and up to six Camden Convocation Representatives;
to receive reports of 2011 parish activities; to review financial results for 2011 and receive the Vestry’s 2012 budget; and to conduct such other business as may come before the meeting.
The meeting is open to everyone, children included, and we hope will be completed in one hour. Voters, as well as anyone to be nominated from the floor, are required by Canon 49 of the Diocese of New Jersey to be: baptized, at least 16 years of age, domiciled in the Parish or adjacent thereto, of good moral character, adhering to this Church and to no other religious body, regular attendants in the services of the Church in said Parish, meaning those who are more frequently present than absent unless for good cause prevented and regular contributors to the current expenses of the Parish for six months next before the said annual meeting in the manner prescribed by the Vestry of said Parish.
Families whose last names begin with the letters A-K are asked to bring sandwiches or some other main dish, and families whose names begin with L-Z are asked to bring a salad or dessert.
