On 12/3/11 Cherry Hill Township legally noticed residents about a public hearing on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. The hearing is being called by a group calling itself the Cherry Hill Township/Merchantville Consolidation Commission. The Merchantville residents participating on this commission were chosen by a petition group that is acting outside of Merchantville’s elected government with Mayor Platt of Cherry Hill.
