Mother Nature may have thrown festival-goers a curve ball during Sea Isle City’s 2011 Fall Family Festival Weekend, however a bit of inclement weather was not enough to dampen the spirits of the tens-of-thousands of people who attended the two-day event on Sat. and Sun., Sept. 17 and 18. The top winner of the festival’s Sand Sculpting Contest was a traditional sand castle built by brothers Ted and Andrew Kirkpatrick of Media, PA, and Sea Isle City.
