East side of Centre Street thru Ivins Avenue First and Third Tuesdays only.
West side of Centre Street thru West End Avenue Second and Fourth Tuesdays only.
No pick up will occur on the Fifth Tuesday. Please have items ready for curbside pickup by 7 AM and keep items separated into groups by category.
Brush consists of: leaves, tree limbs, grass clippings, hay, corn stalks, organic matter; which can be bagged, put in cans or tied in bundles of no more that 50 Lbs. or 4 feet in length.
Chemicals must be labeled and placed into a secure container to prevent spills. They include motor oil, gasoline, insecticides, roofing tar, drywall, spackle and caulk etc.
Oil based paint only includes: stains, varnish, solvents.
Latex paint will not be accepted; please pour latex paint into a bag with sand or kitty litter at the bottom, when dry the bag should be closed and put into regular trash stream. The can without the lid can be placed into the recycling stream once it is dry.
Electronics include: TV’s, radios, vacuum cleaners, Computers, Phones, DVD/VCR equipment etc.
White goods include: refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers etc.
Trash and Recycling
Trash and Recycling will be picked up every Thursday of the month. Please do not mix trash and recycling in the same can or bag; Republic checks the bags and cans for content; they also use different trucks for trash and recycling pick up. Please do not mix brush etc. with trash or recycling it will not be picked up. Trash includes: household waste, furniture, wood, toilets, sinks, beds, non metallic showers and bath tubs.
Holidays may affect actual pick up day; Please place all items out by 7 AM on the regular day of pick up.
